Turbo Assembler Version IV
Click Here to Download Turbo Assembler Version IV
Turbo Assembler version IV is a programming utility designed specifically for writing machine code routines for use within Basic programs and to this end,
the output files are written directly into Basic which avoids the usual problems of converting the conventional object code.
The Turbo Assembler uses the standard 6502 assembly language mnemonics together with a few special non-standard features in order to ease the whole process of producing machine code routines for use within Basic.
Turbo Assembler version IV can assemble an assembly language source code listing into a machine code file consisting of up to 15 pages or 3840 bytes of code,
enough for any machine code routine for use within a Basic program. |

Although primarily designed for drawing electrical circuit diagrams, Atari CAD may be used to draw just about anything.
Drawing functions are selected from the keyboard and actioned using a joystick whether drawing lines, circles or plotting electronic symbols from the wide range available.
Full instructions are available and eight example drawing files, one of which is a replacement XL/XE power supply shown on the Atari CAD screen image above.
The remaining drawing files include circuit diagrams for a single transistor receiver and a square wave generator.
Also included are 15 blank master drawing files each with a special feature around which wiring layout drawings may be produced. |

Space Fighter
Click Here to Download Space Fighter
Space Fighter was originally released on the issue disk included with issue 82 of New Atari User.
You are piloting a space ship armed with a powerful laser gun which you must use to defeat the alien fleet and save planet Earth,
but the alien fleet are also armed with laser weapons and they are intent on destroying you.
On your control panel,
(E) turns your engines on/off but you must have your engines on in order to steer your space craft and aim your laser gun.
(S) turns your protective shields on/off but the shields do not offer total protection and your space ship can still be damaged.
(A) turns the laser gun auto-fire system on/off so that your laser gun automatically fires when on target.
The problem is that everything uses fuel so you must judge the situation wisely and destroy the alien fleet before your fuel runs out.
During the battle you will receive many hits and you will incur damage to your space craft which will be reported to you via your communications system.
Can you save planet Earth or will the alien fleet destroy you? |
